FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you’re overthinking, answered.

Is it weird if I come solo?

Absolutely not. In fact, it’s encouraged. We built The Grown-Ups Table specifically because adult life can be lonely and “finding a squad” is hard. If you walk in alone, you won’t stay that way for long. We (Kelsey & Kelly) are professional “Connectors”—we will introduce you, seat you, and make sure you have a drink in hand. You are coming to our table, so you are never alone.

 IS this a networking event?

Leave your elevator pitch at the door. While we are all about ambitious people connecting, this is not a “transactional” space. We aren’t here to swap business cards and run; we are here to swap stories and recharge. Think of it less like “Networking” and more like “Net-weaving”—building genuine relationships that might lead to business later, but start with being human first.

What SHould I wear?

The dress code is “Dopamine Dressing.” Wear whatever makes you feel like the main character in your own life. Whether that’s a sequin blazer, a vintage tee, or a power suit—if it makes you feel confident, it belongs at the table. (And remember: In this house, leopard print is a neutral). We’ll provide the wristbands.

What exactly does my ticket include?

Your ticket is your all-access pass to the sanctuary. It includes: Your reserved seat at The Grown-Ups Table, curated heavy appetizers, one cocktail/beer/mocktail, conversation starters so you can skip the small talk, exclusive access to our curated playlist, and a “Swag Bag” that actually matters (NOTE: Exclusive to the first 25 guests to arrive–so get there on time!)

IS there an age minimum and limit?

This is a space for the “Grown-Ups.” While we don’t check ID for a maximum age, our vibe is curated for those navigating the “messy middle” of life (typically 30s, 40s, and 50s+). If you are old enough to know who Sade is, you’re in the right place.

I don’t drink alcohol. does that matter?

Absolutely not! “Vitality” isn’t about the booze; it’s about the spirit. We take our Mocktail game just as seriously as our Cocktail game. You will have a beautiful glass in-hand and the same toast as everyone else!

This is geared towards Child-free adults. Why?

We found that parents of young children often have built-in communities (through schools, sports, and playdates), while those in the “before,” “after,” or “opt-out” stages often find themselves without a dedicated gathering space. We created this table to fill that gap. We wanted to build a sanctuary where the conversation doesn’t default to milestones, schedules, or caretaking. This is a space to reclaim your identity and focus on who you are—not just who you take care of.

Who belongs at The Grown-ups table?

Everyone. We are fighting for a community where every walk of life can take up space. Whether you are a CEO, a caregiver, a creative, or currently reinventing yourself—you belong here. We honor all backgrounds, identities, and stories. The only requirement for entry is an open mind and a willingness to be kind.

I have dietary resterictions. Will there be food for me?

We want you full and happy, not just “getting by” on a fruit plate. When you purchase your ticket, there is a dedicated spot to list your dietary needs. Kelly (our Logistics Queen) reviews every single request to ensure there are safe, delicious options waiting for you.
