The Arrival: No Awkward Wandering
Head into Inside the Five’s Fifth Floor on the second floor. You’ll see the sign. When you walk in, you aren’t walking into a staring contest. You’re walking into a lounge.
The Icebreaker: Let the Nametag work
Check in with our crew at the door. Instead of a blank nametag, you’ll grab one of our randomized ‘Ask Me About’ tags (“Ask Me About My Obsession with 90s R&B” or “Ask Me About Arbor Mist”). Have fun with it!
The Vibe: Music, Drinks, No Pressure
Once you’re in, the hard part is over. Grab a cocktail or mocktail from the bar. DJ Davenport will be spinning a mix of lounge, soul, and nostalgic tracks. Find a spot on a couch, hit the high-tops, or table. Your choice!
The Rule: You can talk to anyone, or you can talk to no one and just enjoy the music. This is the grown-ups table. there are no expectations here, just be mindful of wristbands.
Purple: Single and open
The vibe: I am unattached and open to meeting someone. Feel free to buy me a drink, ask for my number, or just chat. I’m here to see what happens.
Pink: Friends & Vibes Only
The vibe: I’m happily committed OR happily single (and staying that way). I’m here to kill the Friendship Recession, not to find a date. Let’s talk about music, work, or life–But keep it platonic.
Rainbow: LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY
The vibe: I’m here to find my people. Grab one of these in addition to your Pink or Purple band. It’s a signal to help you find safe, inclusive connections in the room.

We are taking over The Fifth Floor at Inside the Five in Sylvania. Tucked away above the noise of the street, this private sanctuary is the perfect backdrop for real conversation. Good lighting, better cocktails, and zero distractions. The party is from 7pm to 10pm on 2/14/2026.
